    @AuldReekie 'Wis' for 'Hats'.
    My favourite album off all time and no guitar of any significance on it. Much as I love Paul Buchanans void and songs, it's Paul Joseph Moores incredible soundscapes that makes it so special

    Couldn't agree more. Funnily enough I tweeted PJ about the album this morning - and got a reply!

  • 1. King Crimson - all of 'em really, but Larks Tongue in Aspic is imprinted on my soul.
    2. Free - Tons of Sobs. How a Les Paul should be played.
    3. The Stones - Exile on Main Street. Gets better every time I hear it.
    4. Black Sabbath - Vol 4. At their full power, often copied, never bettered.
    5. Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. Consummate.
    6. Sonny Rollins - The Bridge. Brimming with groove and class.
    7. Dylan - Time out of Mind. A soundtrack to my life really.
    8. Every note Peter Green has ever played. The person responsible for me wanting to play in the first place.
    9. Tom Waits - The Heart of Saturday Night. Rough and ready, but a positive favourite.
    10. Joe Pass - Virtuoso..a masterpiece.
