Marshall Model 5005 Lead 12 1X10 Combo Crackling

Hi Guys looking for little help with the crackling of this little amp when i turn the volume or gain knobs up or down, i know somebody will help, only used for chilling at home for little blues.

    The pots on these are notorious for doing this.

    Open up the amp and squirt some Servisol or Electrolube contact cleaner/lubricant into the pot, using the tube poked into the little square slot on the pot. Rotate the pot back and forth a few times, then repeat.

    If this doesn't work, try again.

    If it still doesn't work, use WD-40. But not first!

    They can be stubborn to get clean but a combination of cleaner and WD-40 does almost always work if the cleaner alone doesn't.
