Fender 65 Princeton Tweed

What's Hot
Hi everyone

Fender recently produced a limited edition of the Princeton Tweed with Jensen speaker.  I've just raised the funds to buy a new one only to find that there doesn't seem to be anyone with any stock left.

This is the kit I'm looking for.

If I'd have gone for it a week ago, there were one or two places still advertising them.

Does anyone know of a supplier with stock?  Might be a small local (to you) dealer that's way down the Google listings.

Thank you

If you don't find one the Jensen P10Q is readily available and works well with the standard Princeton Reverb reissue.

Tweed on a blackface cab looks odd tbh, like some kind of Torres homebuild.

    Lucky escape.

    :)

Just get a Blackface one and change the speaker. Far nicer.

What that amp really needs is a brownface style faceplate and cream cup knobs.

    And a Tweed preamp circuit

    And a 12" speaker

    And 18-20w, possibly from 6L6s.

Johnners would make you one to your spec.....

*edit* but it wouldn't have the 'F' badge on it. Well....it could.....

  • The Ltd edition sparkle finish ones are worth seeking out used - they're fitted with a Celestion Gold
