  • do you mean a Jagstang?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • Cheers @mstill1984

@meltedbuzzbox i think they were mij from 2012, and cant find any new in uk stores. Dunno if they were discontinued or what.

They were made in 3 colours, and have the usual Duncan jb humbucker in the bridge with a single at the neck.

  • Hi, and thanks to Matt for the heads up on this. I've got one in red, pretty much mint, minus a single small paintwork ding. I'm not desperate to sell, but wanted £620 for it when I was trying to sell it. Open to offers and trades or p/x. If you're interested let me know!

  • Just a heads up @starwarsnosebleed - I remember spotting a couple of these in Fiesta Red for sale on the 'UK Guitar Amp and Gear Exchange' Facebook group when I was looking for something else the other day. Might be worth a look.
