    I really enjoyed it.

The US has a history of fuck ups (like the first one he went down for, the second I'm not so sure as it's pretty one sided, but from my view point there looks like there's enough circumstantial evidence to plant a seed of reasonable doubt) and framing people to make sure someone goes down for it, I suspect that's because a lot of the guys at the top of the Judiciary and Sheriffs are voted in to office?

If you enjoyed it there's a few more on Netflix that are along the same lines:

    West of Memphis
    Central Park Five
    The Thin Blue Line

  • I am four episodes in at the moment.  What I am finding more disturbing than anything is that although what is 'factual' evidence can be blurry they draw such a definite line that Brendan's 1 point above sub-normal IQ in a one off test makes him fully reliable when it suits.  You only have to listen to him for a few minutes to realise that this is a 16 year old with the comprehension and interests of an average 4 year old.  Even by their definite system he is classed as "Borderline deficient".

Of all involved though, I think Len Kachinsky is the biggest, most despicable piece of shit so far.  My brother-in-law lives in Vegas and is fairly comfortable.  However he is forever bemoaning how the US legal system (as widely publicised) favours the rich and fucks the poor.  Len Kachinsky is a class 'A' example of the kind of bottom feeders who perpetuate this issue.

My muse is not a horse and art is not a race.

The US has sentenced a load of low IQ people to death, helps if you're black too. It's terrible. They'll try juveniles as adults when the crime is deemed very serious, surely that's when you should be treating them like kids?

I believe they have put a 13 year old away for life in the last few years-there's a documentary on it-possibly Netflix, weird legal system over there, especially their use of 'jailhouse snitches'and the 3 strikes is 25-life.

    From the depths.....

Just done watching both series on Netflix and I am intrigued to say the least. Who killed her? I can make an argument for 5 or so suspects!

Her former ex boyfriend seemed well dodgy to me before I even watched 2nd series and heard speculations about him.

Averys are unlikely but who knows what we aren't shown or told.
