These arrived in the studio yesterday. The detail and imaging are incredible, best studio upgrade I've done. What's everyone using for monitoring?

Wow, these look "important", bet they sound terrific!

I just got me a pair of Yamaha HS5 which are quite the upgrade from my previous M-Audio.

Not the best in the HS range but just right for my tiny studio.

I believe I'm using your speaker stands as monitors...a Tannoy Reveal 6 pair. Not the greatest, but they do the job well enough for me.

Here's mine. Low end is a bit tame and the highs are ringy.

Indeed. Have used the Tannoy's for quite a while now and they have served me well. However, listening back to old mixes on the AE's has opened my eyes to the value of good monitors. Wow! Talk about revealing. Got myself a bargain too.

I have a pair of PMC TB-2s which I bought second-hand off eBay for a very good price. Absolutely love 'em!

Hear a lot of good reports about PMC's. They need a good amplifier though, do yours have Flying Mole's?

Heard good things about the AE, that they're a modern take on the ns-10 and very upfront.

I have a pair of Neumann KH-120's that are compact and work great in the small rooms I inhabit plus I really like their low end.

I pretty much exclusively use Genelecs.
1031A's in the control room and 8240A's with GLM/AutoCal in my mix room.
