Please don't slag off Clapton.... Alright most of the stuff he's churned out for the last 30 years (maybe since Datd) is meh but unless you were around in the day, I'm pretty sure the impact he had on "modern" guitar playing at the time was tremendous. For the bluesbreakers alone he deserves to be there. And up the top! Oh, and please add Yngwie!

If you take @Wazmeister's list:

Weller - they make hair products

Marr - Andrew. He presents current affairs programmes for the BBC

Finn - that's Neil. He's a local painter and decorator. Nice bloke - very fair with his prices - in fact pretty much untouchable for value. Presumably that's why he's been mentioned

Marriott - a large hotel chain
