Hi all,

Due to lack of use recently I'm parting company with my beloved Romany Pro. 6L6 power tubes, long spring reverb (accutronics) single ended class A.

10/10 condition. Lacquered tweed finish.

Recently serviced and re-valved by Dennis Cornell himself.

20 Watts, switchable to 10, 4, or 2 Watts. 12inch Jensen blue label speaker. Awesome amp, I just don't use it anymore. Comes with custom made amp cover and built in foot switch (EQ Cut, can be used as a solo boost). Any questions please get in touch. Prefer pick up but could courier (UK only I'm afraid) and split the fees.

I'm new to Fretboard but I have had many good previous dealings on Vintage Rocker forum and what used to be Birds & Moons. If you can come to me you are welcome to check out the amp fully in person and try her out.

I purchased this amp new from PMT in Norwich and have stored it in a smoke free home.

Thank you! I really love this amp but since buying my Mesa Lonestar Special it doesn't get the use it deserves. If I could afford it I'd just tuck it away for later reference but unfortunately I don't have the budget for multiple high end amps.

Sorry Horsehead, that's too much amp for me. If I go for a trade I'd be more into something smaller like a 1x12 fender of some kind. My back is already destroyed from carrying my Mesa lonestar around!

I don't know about the 6V6 tubes. Dennis is great at replying to questions like this if you want to give him a shout.

Never had any problem with 6V6 tubes in any of the multiple Romanys I've had. ANother forumite has also experimented.

But this is the Pro model with a 2x6L6 power section rather than the single ended Romany / Romany Plus, which might make a difference.

Dennis Cornell is reputed to be fairly prompt on his emails. If it's a deal-breaker he's the guy who will know.
