does it have a footswitch for the EQ bypass and how well does it work for a solo boost at gig volume?

Yes does what the footswitch for the eqbypass. I owned a maz18 and 38 before the remedy and the eq bypass was unusable. The volume jumped up too much but with the remedy you can really use it as a boost in a solo.
