Aliens came down, cloned everyone and threw away the originals. We are still who you think we are, although technically we are not. You may think that you are clever by going to the far reaches of the galaxy and missing that but the joke is on you as us new models all have extended lifetime. On the downside, it runs to about 5 minutes.

Wondered where you'd been Fret.

As has been mentioned, Drew's sadly bowed out, and Hootsmon won't be frequenting OT/SC any longer after he got coolered for posting a photo of an ape or something.

Apart from that, in spite of buying a couple of oscilloscopes along the way, Emp Fab still hasn't managed to fix his mum's NAD amp, bingefeller has returned to the fold, Sambostar is still, well, Sambostar, and Bogwhoppit is still unable to post anything without slagging off the Tories.

Phil is busy building a moat around his gaff to keep out unwanted migrants, and Gassage has moved into a cathedral somewhere near Birmingham.

So, pretty much as we were, really.

I think it was a flounce, but not sure.

I think it was a flounce, but not sure.

Not quite a flounce - he decided he was getting too angry and/or stressed by a lot of what goes on here (including the fact that he'd become a bit of a lightning rod for drama and arguments), so he decided he'd be better off without that in his life; can't really fault his logic, but I think an awful lot of discussions here will be poorer for the absence of his knowledge and experience.
