Hi Guys

Newbie here (and I've never played an electric in my life), so maybe this is a stupid question, but in this video, the description states that there's no effects, and it's just one guy and a guitar. Yet to my untrained eye it looks like he's just soloing, but it sounds like there's another guitar playing chords? Unless he's picking the chords in amongst the solo stuff? 

I was watching on a pretty small screen so maybe I just couldn't pick up the view well enough of what his right hand was doing to make it sound like he was soloing and playing chords!

OK, so I've just rewatched it and I missed that opening shot the first time where he's on the strat.
