That Pedal Show - Steven Wilson Special

I happened to be at this show (sat right behind Daniel) and really was amazed at the clarity of his guitar sounds, even with the complexity of the music and the number of other musicians on stage. The quadrophonic sound worked a treat for the video intros/ambient sounds too.

Interesting how he has delay/reverb out front as well, going to have to experiment a bit more with that.

I would highly recommend checking out this tour if you get the chance!

I watched it earlier and the other one ( Dave Kilminster?). Not my cup of tea musically but Steven is an interesting chap and it is worth a watch, particularly in the second half when he is talking about creativity rather than just listing gear.

What an epic gig, totally mesmerised from start to finish.
So glad it was Dave on guitar too, as I much refer him to Guthrie, better feel and tone IMO, those Brunetti's sounded mega !!

Saw the Manchester gig (O2 Apollo). Absolutely fantastic. "Routine" is possibly one of the most poignant songs I've ever heard, especially with the video.

Am seriously considering a trip to Europe somewhere to see the show again.

I saw him Wednesday - incredible. Routine is possibly the most moving piece of music I know - it reduced me to tears. Amazing guitar sounds and I think Dave's playing was utterly wonderful, well measured and tasteful.

  • Was gutted to miss them in Zurich last tour and on this one they didn't visit.

Brunetti seems to be a hugely underrated amp maker in the UK. Pleximan is high up my gas list.

@Brunetti_Amps_UK - I fixed your link there (needed a capital "K" at the end, not lower-case). Oh, and welcome...I'm one of the admins here :)
