@hotpickups Imo drummers without drumkits aren't really drummers. I do have a problem with people not having the right kit. I think I mentioned that we had a bassist turn up to audition who neglected to bring a bass. What sort of bloke does that? 

Our band is very much run by our other guitarist.  If you get the band a gig then you organise all the arrangements (venue, fee, load in time etc.). Everyone has their jobs but only because we've gravitated towards them (I do the recording stuff and the twitter). I also found the last three new members (bassist, singer and replacement bassist). I'll play almost anything if it means we get more gigs. It's the best hobby in the world so why waste it on people who can't be arsed?
