Erm well I wouldn't have the first clue as to what I was looking at/for but I suppose dropping it in at a local computer repair shop might be an idea. Thanks

For your own sake, let it go. You were always going to lose. You lost. All the evidence and experience tells you that. Stop pretending that it means you should carry on fighting.

I was taught "Only fight if you're going to win". Thats not defeatist, it means make a cold realistic assessment of how you're going to finish the other guy. Otherwise, you're like the fighter who keeps hitting the brick wall with his head and, as the blood runs down into his eyes, thinks "Well its hurting me so it MUST be having an effect on the wall!"

So you take it to a shop and they say parts are missing. So what? Let it go and learn for next time.
