I beg of thee to enlighten this humble seeker of knowledge.

I visited the medicine man to learn more of my sickness and he sayeth thus "Thou art worse than thou should be.  Taketh even unto thee these medicines and thou shalt be better in a few months."

And lo! he giveth me many pills.

My question is what knowledge you wise ones have of the medication known as 'Prednisolone'?

Is it good?  Bad?  

Should I just smear myself with LSD and excrement instead?  Or as well as?

Well, one of the possible side effects is Confusion...so just don't confuse it with the LSD and Excrement mixture.

I was on it for several years with no noticeable side effects. It did the job, but if I recall correctly the medics were nervous about effects of taking it long term so switched me to something else.

In order of preference, LSD > prednisolone > excrement. Does that help?

My daughter is 5 and she's been prescribed it a couple of times, but only one tablet per prescription. She didn't have any side effects.

My brother was on Prednisolone and although it's a very specific medication it did clear up most of the pussy warts on his penis.

Prednisolone is a steroid. It can take couple of days to reach full effect, and sometimes treatment involves gradual increase in dosage. When you stop taking it, you may be advised that you need to steadily reduce the dose before stopping completely. It's a potent drug, which has many possible benefits, but, as with any potent drug, has quite a number of potential side effects - hopefully your doctor told you about the commoner ones.

My son had it and side effects are likely the longer you have it, bloating , skin problems,etc . Still, it can fix what ails ya.

I was on it for 4 weeks for my sarcoidosis. Medics couldn't wait to get me off it.

Side effects are increased apatite and irritability along with other common steroid effects.

I suffered no noticeable side effects.
