Couple of vids with a 5150 head, what a great amp

A friend of mine lent me a 5150 head last night, dirty sound was as expected, brilliant but clean sounds really good I thought as well. Just a pity they are so big and so much money

Sounds great man. Did you use the loop? I've heard that isn't it's strong point.

Great playing as usual.

I'm using my fender and marshall amps a lot more this year but the evh isn't going anywhere - great rock amp.

I haven't had any issues using the loop (apart from once forgetting to turn it on and having a very dry gig).

Yeah there's a delay and flange in the loop but I noticed when I first plugged the GT10 in the loop it went all dark so I had to EQ the GT10 to make up for it.

It's a flattering amp to play through, the harmonics really do jump out with very little effort. I wish they made a 30 watt version a lot cheaper!
