Hughes and Kettner footswitches

Anyone had problems with H&K footswitches? I have. They're charging £40 for a replacement 3 way switch so I'm looking for alternatives.

I'd get a switch from Maplins and do it myself. No probs with either of the ones I had.

£40 isn't that bad for a three way switch, some of the Mesa ones are £120+

I might just repair the one I have as you suggest. Presumably just solder the connections to new switches?

Got the guys at Time Travel Audio in Edinburgh to put a jack socket in the footswitch casing.....much better. Good quality cable and I'm sorted. Cheaper than a new one and a more reliable solution.
