Since I've sold my house and don't have to keep it ultra tidy anymore
and since my Helix is in getting fixed...

Bloody Glorious... My current favourite is the Matchless and Twin combined

I've hurt my ears but there is nowt quite like it. If only I could carry them to gigs...

    It's
Matchless DC30 I think its Sampson Era I'd have to as MoeZambeek as it was his
    A HotCat 30R
    A Fender Twin Reverb Re-Issue
    And a BE100

If I ever get that call from the Chilli Peppers I'm all set ;)

  • Serious amp collection there!

I don't think I'd bother with the Helix. A couple of great pedals and the Matchless/Twin combination would be about as good as it's going to get.

Can't remember if the DC30 was Sampson era or not...late 90s I think. It was a great sounding amp.

I hope you have reinforced floors @cabicular if those aren't on the ground floor :)

Yeah thats the problem @electrodan I love the tone of that Rig but my liver would explode if I tried to carry it through the beer garden and round the pool table of yer average venue
I do take them out sometimes if it is an easy load in and I have the space. I wish I could do it all the time

If they weren't on the ground floor.. they would be by now ;)

The lightest amp there is the Fender Twin .. that should tell you everything you need to know :)

  • I know what you mean.

My Duotone is a 1x12 combo but it's big and heavy. I actually took my JCM900 2x12 combo for about 6 months just to give me more bass and trouser flap on stage (only the Duotone got mic'd up).

I abandoned that idea after a huge New Years Eve wet fire escape climb.
