Cornford Roadhouse boost circuit

Does anyone know where the boost circuit on the cornford roadhouse comes in the signal chain i.e. does it boost into the pre amp like it would if using a clean boost pedal into the front of the amp or does it come after the pre amp? I suppose it would give more of a volume boost if it went after the pre amp?

Its comes in after the first gain stage (input stage), adds more gain and a bit of a volume boost.
