Are you a fan of any of the other non-Frazz pedals on there?

The Strymon stuff on there is the only other that I'm familiar with and I really like them for sure.

What sort of stuff are you playing?

Mainly soundtrack stuff just now, soundscapes for theatre, etc. (recently for the first time had a piece I wrote used in a show). Shoegazey, post-rock, ambient, that kind of thing. I like playing more than just that, obviously, but I do like Mogwai, early Verve, Cocteau Twins, Sigur Ros and the like.

I want to learn to play a little more ambient stuff to give me some time away from rock and solos when I'm finding that to be the only thing that I'm doing. I'm also going to concentrate on acoustic for the same reason. H9s will be accompanying me in both of those diversions too!!

You've definitely got the right accompaniment for that. I've heard that Alan Moulder designed some of the sounds on the H9.
