Here's a virtually unplayed machine of immense prettiness. I took it as a trade but slide guitar is clearly a dark art not meant for me to comprehend and so its on the block. It's a lovely looking and sounding guitar strung with 15's The case is superb condition as is the guitar. The inlays are abalone. They dont make this model anymore and it was near £900 new in 2008. It's been mostly an ornament since then. ....a beautiful Levinson Blade strat ? , so it's not US, it has a rosewood fretboard, but it's quality & plays like a dream!
(BTW: is it a round neck?)

I would stick some 16's on it - tune to open D and get yourself a slide. ( glass is best) may I ask - does it have the round or square neck profile?

I play a National Dobro looks similar to yours- GLWS its a nice guitar

Mmmmm, any interest in my 83 Tokai. (Jap 62 style Strat in the classifieds with some decent upgrades)

Thanks @erky32 but not for me really. It's a round neck profile @Lez325 and it really is a lovely guitar but the black art of slide just seems to defeat me ( can't really be arsed with all the effort required to get a degree of competence) .

ah pity, ...but if you change yr mind, the Lev'Blade is a gem. I quite fancy trying a Dobro style, but I can only exchange at the moment.

The profile of the neck fella not the board- some Dobro's are designed for playing like a lap steel and have a square neck profile
