Sick syncopation

Now it's not the greatest album in the world but the syncopated rhythym at 1:25 on Coverdale Page's 'Shake my Tree' gets me every time. Truly sick syncopation. Reminds me a little of the rhythmic feel of the wanton song. If you like it off the beat too, what are you fave tunes for it?

I do like a bit of polyrhythm. A couple of favourites:

Submotion Orchestra - Intro (WARNING-CONTAINS NO GUITAR). 

As far as I can work it out, the bulk of the song is a 5/8 repeating piano melody over a half-time 4/4 drum and bass part. Niiiice.

King Crimson - Discipline 

God knows what's going on here.

Oceansize - Catalyst

Gets all polyrhythmy at the start, then settles in to that sweet riff.

Of all the fantastic stuff that dude is responsible for, the one song he played on that I keep coming back to (mostly for his fantastic un-flashy but absolutely appropriate and thoroughly funky drumming) is this steaming disco turd.

I love that album, some great stuff on it...
