This has been in the making for a few months and finally started to get to the build stage. I got sick of amps not quite doing what I wanted, some were very close but always missed something, so decided when I sold my AxeFX II to get a custom amp made.

Specs are:

• 2 channel 50w head (footswitchable) 2 x EL34
• Channel 1: JMP/1987 modes (selectable by front panel toggle switch). Gain-Treble-Middle-Bass-Volume
• Channel 2: modern high gain, hot rod Marshall sound ala Brown Eye. Gain-Treble-Middle-Bass-Volume
• series effects loop
• Master Presence control
• Master Boost function with variable gain and volume controls, individual per channel, footswitchable
• Master Volume
• Low power switch. I use a 3 position standby switch (50W – Standby – 10W)
• Cabinet in custom tolex, JMP style
• Switchable EL34/6l6 bias setting

It's still in the build stage, but I've finally got a few pictures of the chassis and case, as well as the concept for the front and rear panels.

I'll post more pictures as the build progresses.

It looks a little shiny in the pictures but it's not that bad in real life.

I believe they have all the parts in now so hopefully a few weeks and I should have it. Took a while to get the spec sited and the custom order of the panel and head box took a while.

Obviously all hand wired.

Jeez...is it just me, or is that power transformer of yours feckin' huge?

It's a smaller  JTM style headshell so that probably makes the transformer look bigger.

Looks like a great build @Si_ ; Pretty complex wiring I'd imagine.  Hope it goes well.  Take great care at first start up!

It actually cost me.. nothing..

I traded my 2555SL head for it. 

Stonehams prices are excellent.. hand wired, custom head, built to your exact spec for sub £1k, or you can order his v2-50 head as demo'd above at a similar price.
