I think these sound absolutely superb. 

Must be one of the top picks for a reasonably priced gig workhorse at the moment.

Hhhmmm, I'd have to disagree. Every demo has sounded very average to my ears and that does nothing to persuade me otherwise. You can also tell when Mick and Pete are truely inspired by the gear they're testing I didn't get it from this vid.

I'm in the discerning camp as well, the higher gain tones sound muddy and flat to my ears.  The sound at 16.30 or so is a really poor one in particular.  

The clean ones aren't bad, but nothing special though.

Actually I should probably clarify that I thought the 45 sounded superb (I've also tried one and thought it was great)

The 18/30 I wasn't that fussed about and I thought the gain sounds with the LP were quite nasty. 

It looked like they were enjoying themselves to me.

I like the sound of it, they look a lot nicer in person than they do in pictures too. I guess though people here are more used to higher quality Marshally type noises so these being maybe lower end don't edit folks that much. I can imagine them floating boats of many average guar players once they get past the fact it says fender on the front but doesn't sound like one

What I'm more concerned about is that if I went to Surrey (or near andertons anyway), would I immediately become a grinning maniac? Their demos seem quite good while they're playing music but the talking, whoever is in the videos, seem like their drinks were laced with something stimulatory...

Okay, just listened to the intro - that tele tone is absolutely horrible.

But someone else said to me the 45 watter is very good, and I must admit, they look cooler than I thought they would. I want to try one out for sure.

Just got it on as background but, yes, Tele one at the beginning is terrible. I don't like the look of the combos close up, covered in bits of carpet stolen from a car showroom.

I have to say, I quite like the look of the 15W one, for a different flavour from my normal amps (for recording purposes).

Quite tempting, actually. Might need to get some pedals to go with it, mind.
