Joe: M'kay, Glenn. So long as you stop pronouncing and singing the word and as 'eynd'. Everytime I hear that I'm like 'dude, which part of Cannock do they say 'eynd' in?
Always thought that was a weird name for a band, of whom half weren't even from the same country the Black Country is in, and of the remaining two only one of them was from the Black Country.
I wonder if Kevin Shirley will insist on two drummers for this album?
Prefer Them Crooked Vultures & Chickenfoot for my supergroup thrills ......

I mean the second one was kinda too, but, Afterglow was a well-done album. It had maturity and actual songwriting instead of cliches.

I love Wolverhampton - had some top nights out at Blast Off/Cheeky Monkey etc. (Oops gone a bit Central News again).

The address is West Bromwich. The border was moved at some point apparently , it had been one half in Birmingham and one half in Smethwick( hence the names of the ends) but is now all in West Bromwich. Also the highest major ground above sea level in the UK.
Whilst I'm here... Whilst Wolverhampton probably isn't in the Black Country historically (definitions vary but essentially if you follow the Black Country coal seam) it does get lumped in with it now. For example, I work with the Black Country courts which cover Wolverhampton, Walsall, Warley and Dudley. Essentially Black Country is used now a lot to generically describe the parts of the West Midlands that aren't Birmingham or on the Coventry-Solihull side. Although, still not Cannock.
