Seeing Max Bygraves again reminds me of Name that Tune.

There's one great game show format that deserves reconsideration.

Jeff Buckley - Grace ;) in the spirit of quoting Abbey Road (quite correctly!) as the Beatles' last

    "Yard of Blonde Girls"
    "Witches' Rave"
    "New Year's Prayer"
    "Morning Theft"
    "Vancouver"
    "You & I" – 5:39

And to get a debate going, you might want to pick a band who are still going or who made more records, but pick the record which you think was their last 'great' album before quality declined.
This is very difficult!  I can think of lots of bands who've definitely gone downhill, but picking the exact album at which the decline started is quite tricky - and open to debate.

Is anyone going to suggest In Through the Out Door? Please do. I haven't had my daily rant about 'Hot Dog' yet.
I had to google it to see who it was by, but anything to help out.

"In Through The Out Door". Definitely. Especially "Hot Dog".

Ah yes I did wonder about that one, but I'm not sure it was actually released? I'm not overly taken by it but I've always thought it was because it felt more like demos (like that new one that's been released recently)
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

I think he was recording songs for the sketches album when he died and then the two cd album was compiled posthumously by his mother.

Had they not have decided to come back in 1984, Deep Purple's Come Taste The Band was a pretty decent album to bring their original account to a close.

I prefer Stormbringer though, even though Blackmore probably hated it.
