I'm contemplating selling my original 1966 Fender Stratocaster as I have my eye on a '62. It's completely original bar a brilliant refret (and new bone nut) recently performed by Charlie Chandler's and it plays and sounds stellar. More pics on the way. The case is original to the guitar, it's an import case as the guitar was originally bought in Switzerland.

62 is my birth year. I can't afford either..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

    Nice.

Wonder how easy it'd be to convert it to a 2-point trem...

It could do with a 12-string neck fitting and converting to a wide necked 6 string as my fingers are really sausage-like. A locking nut and floyd rose would definitely finish it off nicely...

And how much were the cars worth a few years down the line? This is not just a guitar but part of the history of an absolutely classic design, a masterpiece even. Priceless in my view and a steal at this price :)
