I've never seen this before. I started with Rodney Crowell and am utterly hooked.

someone on MR once posted a link to an NPR vid of Sam Phillips which led me all over the place, I also like the concerts by TuneYards, The Decemberists and Nickel Creek (both featuring Sara Watkins)

One of the best slide solo players for a generation! Derek Trucks is amazing. Check this incredible solo he did when playing with BB King.

That Tiny Desk concert of Tedeschi Trucks is fantastic, as is that solo with BB King.

I first heard them last year for the first time - Derek Trucks is just amazing.

I'm pleased that people like it but I'm amazed by the minimal response as I think its treasure trove of 300 little gigs which I've never seen anywhere else.

Or is not metal enough or has everyone already been there etc etc,

Most of us aren't that bothered about music - I'm just in it for the gear.

    +1 for Rodders!

The Tiny Desk series is great. Loved Foster The People's set - Pumped Up Kicks was even better stripped back!
