Valhalla Vintage Verb

What's Hot
I've been playing around with the demo for some time, but there's nothing quite like the dropout to pull you out of that reverb bliss moment! Anyway, I recently bought the plugin and I have to say, I'm absolutely loving it. I've wanted a PCM 70 since I first heard it was all over some of my favourite records and I've been able to dial in *that* reverb sound easily. Having the 70s/80s/Now options make it versatile and the algorithms are superb. Amazing value at fifty bucks too.
I just wish you could get the VVV in a pedal.

If there's one thing I love, it's epic reverb. Room is next on the purchase list!

I've got Room and Plate, sorely tempted to pick up Vintage too as I use both so much - in fact it's kinda become my de facto process to put one of each on a send when I start a new project file.

Slightly off topic Is anyone else using convolution Verbs? I've been using the bricasti M7 packs with space designer. And the H3000 samples with a bit crusher. To try to recreate some of the characteristics of the original unit. The M7 sounds are lush and theres some cool stuff in the H3000. Worth checking out if you haven't already.

I had been using some Lex 480 impulses with Space Designer, which I liked a lot.
I downloaded a load of M7 impulses but they're in wav format and so far, I haven't worked out how to get Space Designer to see them.

I don't really like convolution reverbs. I prefer algorithmic.

I've got Room and Vintage, now I'm tempted to pick up Plate.

    It's not a competition.

I was looking for a decent plate reverb and spent some time checking out the Valhalla Plate vs the new Waves Abbey Road Plates.  The ARPs were stunning,, but a complete CPU hog whereas the VP was beautiful and used just a fraction of the ARP's processing needs  0.5% vs 7.0% on a single track in Reaper.  Needless to say I bought the Valhalla Plate :)
