    Outstanding isn't it?

I've seen Jon play a few times, always left me inspired and more connected with his music than the last time. Last time I saw him, he unplugged and came to the back of the audience and jammed, and we sang. One of a kind. Just been looking at his signature Lowden, now that would be a treat to have.

Oh, and shall I send him some socks?

I can't say I love everything in that percussive style but Jon very much rises above that and produces enjoyable music, not just stuff you have to watch.

    Although great video.

    Yes.

Jon is great. I have his Don't Panic album in my iTunes Library somewhere. I must dig it out again. :D

    A master of his art.
Had hoped to catch him on tour this year, but couldn't make it.

I really recommend subscribing to Jon's FB page if you can.

His tour updates and his experiences being bipolar are incredibly honest.

I have great respect for him as a musician, but even more so as a person.

  • Thanks for posting this...I'm late on parade here, being a silly bugger who's never heard this work before..shame on me.

    Truly breathtaking virtuosity.

    Hat well and truly tipped.

Reminds me of the late Eric Roche. Not impressed with Jon's vocals (sorry).

For me, Jon's version of Chaka Khan's Aint Nobody is one of the most astonishing things ever done on a guitar. I did some work with him at Peavey and got to see him do it in the flesh. Utterly mindblowing. Top bloke too.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.
