Well I've just listened to Mr ZW's latest offering....... Either it's aimed at insommniacs or something pretty catastrophic happened to Zakk sometime in the last few years.

I love the original Book of Shadows and Pride & Glory, but hate the way Zakk's playing has developed. It's like he's gone backwards since No Rest for the Wicked. Scared to hear this.

I'm interested to hear this as the first album was fantastic, albeit two decades ago. I cannot stand his singing voice nowadays though.

I loved his stuff with Ozzy early on, and Pride and Glory, but never really was into BLS.

A lot of my students 10 years younger than me were super into him.

I am actually quite a big fan of Zakk, both his early Pride and Glory stuff aswell as BLS (and the Ozzy stuff). Mafia was great i thought, and the whole bands live performances around that time were fantastic. I think that's where it peaked for them. 

I like this new one but i've gotta be in the mood for it. Having said that i think its a grower, so no doubt my opinion will change in time.
