Cornell Romany Pro/TR20 Volume

Hey guys,

Basically I just wanted to know how much headroom the Cornell Romany Pro or TR20 has; is it loud enough to gig with a drummer etc unmiked?

Bump. There's a Romany 12 I'm looking at but I want to know if the 20w Romany model's loudness will allow it to be used unmiked, and therefore more suited to my needs.

Depends on the drummer, and how clean you need it to be. My Romany Custom (12" driver and the Rambler chassis) goes unsociably loud quite easily, but I've played with drummers much louder, and the Cornell will be a bit crunchy at that point. Pleasantly crunchy, of course.
