Gratuitous Dog pics

So Poppy is now 6 months old (well, just over)...and we were walking her on one of our local hills/parks last weekend and a local lady who does dog photography (and then sells them to companies to use in Calendars etc) asked if she could take some photos of Poppy and in return she'd send us the photos free of charge...WTFN....so here lieth my excuse for posting photos of her. 

She's turned into an absolute character (and isn't too much of a fruit loop!) and aside from completely ignoring us and bolting when a bird swoops past her (which is obviously the gun dog in here! still trying to find a solution for it - suggestions on a post card!) - she's a really great dog...Great with other dogs, excitable but gentle with people and loves trying to be a lapdog. Can't remember life without her!

Yea, she's great. We let her go to a "doggy day care" lady once or twice a week, which some people probably don't agree with ("why do you have a dog if you can't be there for it"), but she absolutely adores it (and the lady, who has spaniels of her own adores her), and she's now noticeably different with other dogs (less bull in a china shop!), especially smaller dogs/puppies. She's an absolute little legend.

Ladies dog alert.  Really have a bad thing down in my brain about white and brown Spaniels. 

I want a pet Hyena so if anyone messes with me, it will just eat the other dogs straight off the leash without even chewing.

Hyenas are where it is at.

Yep, they are awesome! Probably best if you don't meet Poppy....she won't help matters.

@Sporky is that a long line you're using? 

We're still trying to teach Poppy to not pull when she's on the lead and recall when she's off it...works fine unless there's birds around, then her gun dog instinct kicks in and she switches off. Long lead is helping massively though. 

Sprocket is massive already :-O
