I've only just read about this.  I've slagged off Megadeth a fair bit over the years, here and elsewhere, but I loved that lineup with Marty Friedman and Nick Menza.  Very sad news indeed.  RIP.

The Mustaine, Ellefson, Friedman, Menza lineup was one of my most remembered bands from my youth. What an awesome era that was.
