This is a Woody Zodiac semi-acoustic, basically a double-cutaway Tele shape with a set neck and Gibson scale length. These guitars have a great reputation for being excellent value, and deservedly so. They retail at £179 direct from here: http://www.woodycustom.com/view_item.php?ItemID=34&CategoryID=1&SubcategoryID=27
All the hardware is good quality, including the pickups. I've changed the only weaker points which were the pots, switch and jack socket. The guitar has been rewired to a high standard.
Most importantly, since I got it, I've had the guitar refretted with 6105 equivalent fret wire to a very high standard by Matt Ryan http://www.guitarrepairer.com/ and it's also had a bone nut fitted, at a cost of £120. It's not that the frets were bad, but that I prefer a slightly taller fret, and given I was planning on keeping this, the expense seemed worthwhile. Plans have changed however! It's been set up to perfection and plays like a much more expensive instrument now.
So it stands me in at over £200, but I'll let it go for £150 shipped, or best offer. I can post in a proper, big, guitar box with lots of bubblewrap. It will NOT get damaged!
Hope Niall doesn't mind me using his pics. Since these were taken, the guitar's been refretted and has a cream switch tip.
