I love me a pointy. 

A 86 Model 5a. Serial dates this to 86 as it's the sticker behind the headstock and not stamped into the end of the fretboard.  They officially didn't start selling the 5a until 87/88. I'd also have expected an 86 to have a Kahler, but this as you can see has a JT6, go figure.

I bought this in Swansea 30+ years ago. Story is that it was one of the reps. demo guitars that the guys in the shop wouldn't let him take away. 

Original J95C pickup is long gone. 





Second is an 88 Model 6 in Burgundy Mist. Pinky, pink, pink, pink.
