Bradley Walsh can do one as far as I'm concerned. I don't like the experts either. The studio is too red an all.

Pointless appeals to me more because it validates my "knowing who was nominated for a Brit Award for Best International Group in 1988 is more important than knowing when my nephew's birthday is" way of remembering things.

I preferred the original format of pointless when it was more freestyle and people had to just think of obscure answers. I can understand why they made it multi-choice but it is not as enjoyable to watch in my opinion.

The "final chase" on the chase is scientifically flawed because the number of possible questions is dictated by how many bradley has time to ask and how long it takes for him to say them. Not really a fair fight. As the time starts to run out he starts asking the questions faster.

..but that applies to both the contestants and the chaser, so it is fair as it averages out between them.

The "professional quizzers" kind of annoy me too, the way they look down their noses at people.

Aquiring knowledge doesnt make you a more intelligent or superior person to anyone else. In fact I would argue they have wasted their lives studying a wide range of unusable encyclopedic facts just to make themselves look clever or make money at quizzes. Whilst the real intelligent people are out doing relevant research and relevant work in their chosen field to change the world for the better.

Pointless FTW.One of my work colleagues was on The Chase though so I watched it for her. Didn't like it much as a programme. Actually not that bothered about Pointless and not sure I've ever watched one beginning to end. Eggheads is poop. The only - non comedy- quiz show I sit down to watch is Only Connect.

Aren't you looking into this a little too deep? I bet you're a hoot at the local pub quiz. It's just a light entertainment quiz show.
