Trying to play Sax solos on guitar

Would anyone be able to advise how to transcribe a sax score into a standard guitar tab please. 

I have a couple of bits of sheet music  of sax solos but it clearly isn't written the same way as guitar notation.

The problem is you are dealing with two transposing instruments.

The sax is a Bb instrument and is notated that way.

The guitar is written an octave higher than the pitch of the note.

Depends on the sax! Altos are in Eb and Tenors in Bb...

I've learned a lot of Sax solos by ear, they transfer well to Guitar, you can obviously put your own take on certains bits but when it comes down to it, they are just notes.
