    I've AB'd them and it's funny as the Tokai is the older guitar by some distance (first year run ie 1981 with the '59 style neck) It feels easier to play and more comfortable but the Gibson definitely sounds warmer, slightly more woolly in a pleasant way. I think it's been played hard !

    @travisthedog. , sorry for the historical bump but it suddenly dawned on me that you bought an amp from me last year - either a jet city combo or a Egnater tweaker, I can't remember which.

    Either way you know where my gaff is if you did want to try the 335 !
