music io on ipad and Windows 10

Anyone successfully using musicio on the ipad with Windows 10? I've got the full version - paid for and all - but I'm buggered if I can get it working. I can get it to connect in my DAWs (Cubase 8 and Live) but no MIDI or audio seems to transfer between them. It's such a beautiful concept, it just doesn't seem to work! Any help appreciated...
