I see a lot of these 'NAD' posts on here, and some of you really are buying some truly lovely amps. Waaaaaaay over my budget!

So, today I have had delivered my latest ebay purchase. Try not to laugh now...

Its a Vox 'Lil Night Train :) No speaker cab as of yet...ill just be able to do silent evening practise, but a cab will follow in the not too distant future. Ive also seen a few reviews where people have stated that it would benefit from a valve upgrade, so ill have a look in to that also.

    Can't you use a speaker from another amp?

    That's what I meant. Can you not hook that up to the Vox or is it hardwired to the output?  Or is it closed back and a pain to get at?
