You mean a wooden box with a speaker in it.

Interested in these cabs too. One review on thomann describes the turbosound speaker as having a scooped middle so i guess a bit american sounding which i like.

Mmmm, maybe not then. Looking for more of a vintage British sound.

I've got a jet city 112 up for sale in the classifieds, much nicer than the Bugera!

What is the speaker like in the Jet City? Don't want anything too 'bright' sounding...if that makes sense.

The amp id be using it with is already a little bright, so wouldn't want to exaggerate that further.

I think the eminence is pretty balanced and neutral, it's a very good speaker for a low budget cab and sounds very good at low and high volumes, I've iften found the celestion v30 sounds crap at low levels.

I suppose with the jet city you have the option of closed or open back as well so could be an option... Mmmm interesting...

I have to admit i did get the harley benton cab and did find the celestion v30 was a bit much for bedroom levels. It does seem to like being driven hard. I broke it in, sold it and recouped the majority of the money i spent on the cab in the first place. I then fitted a low sensitivity speaker of my choice. That being a jensen mod. A bit of a faff around but got there in the end :)

It sounds great both ways too! I'm a big fan of the open back sound!

It's had very little use, home volumes only and only with 15-20w amps. It's pretty much as new, still even got the box! I got it a couple of months ago, just to tide me over while my main amp was off for repair.
