Why does the quote system not work on mobile?

If I quote someone on mobile it doesn't link to their profile and doesn't notify them. Is it as easy as changing a bit of the HTML code after quoting?

Is there a fix, besides saying @user at the start of the quote

I didn't realise it notified them on the main site? Currently on the mobile so can't try that out |)

Well I thought it did, perhaps it doesn't.

On main site now, does that notify you?

It doesn't notify the quote-ee. However, the bug is (I believe) in the editor; that's something that should be fixed in the version we're going to be releasing to testing soon.
