Just came across this post on Instagram and Facebook that Chris from @RiftAmps is offering 15% off all amps this weekend. I've got no affiliation with the company but know Chris is a stand up guy who builds some cracking amps. If you ever needed an excuse this could be it:

I'm seriously interested, but don't really want to make an impulse decision without having the opportunity to properly evaluate / demo some of the options.  May have another look at some of the online vids tho...

I'm going to pretend that I haven't seen this Thread.

 I bought two Rift Amps in quick succession earlier this year. One's being moded by Chris at the present time. The other is a Vibro '63 which is a fabulous sounding Amp.

That Brownie 5 does look a very neat concept. I'd love to give that a try as well
