Had both the Harlequin & Carrera..had being the operative word. 

Simply disliked them both...bit of a head scratcher why I bought them in the first place.

Yeah, the harlequin just sounded dead as a doornail and the carrera like playing through a transistor radio

Gadget

Different folks, different strokes.

I've had 3 Harlequins and a Carrera and got on great with them. As home and studio combos I think they're superb.

My home amp is a Harlequin and I really like it. I used to own a Hurricane and absolutely loved that - I frequently regret selling it. I might try a Carrera one day to see how close to a low power Hurricane it gets (with the effects loop and reverb that the Harly lacks...).

I've had the Carrera for the last couple of years..it's great for home..but I currently have a real attack of Fender amp GAS...so it's on the chopping block
