Hi guys

how'd ya'all use the controls on yer Minstrel....? it's the vol & gain that interests me the most

had my new Minstrel up against my Super crunch box for an A/B test and guess what? it was less noisy in the higher gain settings! didn't expect that....way tae go Simon....think I'm gonna dig this pedal, a keeper for sure.

I got the Minstrel (and the Jester) quite recently so I've not had a great deal of time with it. 

At the moment I set volume above unity and for single coils I use mode 2 with gain about 2/3 o'clock. For humbuckers I use mode 3 with the gain probably no more than 12 o'clock at the most. Treble and bass at around 10 o'clock and mids at 12/1 o'clock. I then back off the volume on my guitar for breakup/crunch rhythm when needed. 

As I said, I've not had them long so I'm still learning about them. What I can say is that they really come into their own at gig volume, stunning pedals indeed.
