Wiring Hicon pancake jacks

I've just bought some Hicon pancake jacks to make some patch cable and I, before I do it wrong, just wanted to checkbI plan to wire correctly. Does the core of the cable get wired to the tab at the top (when the jack plug is pointing away from you)?

Yep, cable core goes to the tab in the middle covered by the white guard.
