Hi guys, anyone else here having problems with this forum and google chrome?  I can view the forum fine with my andriod phone or IE9 but when using chrome my pc locks up and its only on this website no other? I can see in the bottom corner when it freezes that its waiting on gravatar to load?

    Nope - in fact, I only use it in Chrome (Linux and Windows), and haven't had any problems.

    I believe many of the chrome drops lately are due to shockwave player conflict crashes.
    You need to check what add-ons are running IIRC

    Cheers

    I don't use chrome but I am having MAJOR problems whenever I come on the site.  I'm using Firefox with Windows 7 and virtually every time I hit the 'home' page my laptop freezes.  No idea why this happens.  Cursor freezes too so I'm stuffed.

     The only way I can get out is to click contrl/alt/del and eventually the page unfreezes.  This can take 2/3 minutes though.  Otherwise the only other option is to switch the laptop off and restart which isn't ideal.

    I did raise this issue on the 'off topic' page but nobody responded so assume no one else is having this problem?

    @surfguy13:
    I've just checked Firefox/Windows 7 and all is working fine.
    If you can, please install Firebug and see if it shows any errors.
    (it didn't on my side)

    Right, installed Firebug and logged onto FB this morning and it hasn't hung up!!!!!  :)

    Does Firebug work in the background and right any errors or does it just flag up issues?  If so, is the information in the 'Error Count' tab?  I've clicked the 'Error Count' tab when it has a tick beside it but nothing happens.  Is this me being stupid?  If it is me could you confirm how I can get the errors up to see them?

    Thanks!!
