Right, deep H9 question. 8CM!!!!

4cable extended method, I know I can get the H9 to move about in the signal chain depending on where I want it, phaser before preamp then next preset it moves to fx loop for reverb etc. But I'm just wondering about using it via a loop switcher.
My theory is as follows.
guitar input to looper.
looper loop 5 ( for example) send to H9 input 1
H9 output 1 to amp input
Amp fx loop send to H9 input 2
h9 output 2 to loop switcher loop 5 return
loop switcher output to Amp fx loop return

set H9 to pre/post and then I can use anything before loop 5 on the switcher in the front end of the amp ( currently comp, phaser, od), and anything after loop 5 ( delay) in the fx loop of the amp, with the H9 flip flopping between depending on the preset.

In my mind this works, on paper it works, it's exactly as per the Eventide demo video but with the inclusion of the loop switcher, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Anyone tried anything along these lines?
Cheers.

I'm not answering - I have mine hooked up in a G2 but using the G2's volume send/return to access amp loop, and have one before and one after that - I nearly gave myself a fucking embolism drawing it out 20 times before I was sure I had it right.

Go ask on the Eventide forum - they are proper helpful
    Red ones are better.
