    Thanks for the replies @monquixote and @Cabicular.

    Just realised I could try running an aux out from the PA to my Yamaha DXR10 (but without sending anything to FOH) and that should allow me to EQ via the desk.

    Failing that an EQ pedal sounds like the way to go.

    The reason I run the way I do is that the patches are EQed to sound good out of the PA and any overall tweaking can be done at the desk.
    If the feed to my amp doesn't sound right in the room then I also have the option to independently add a tweak.
